You may have spotted a few posts ago a stunning design called Papel. It's one of two new designs we have in stock which utilize laser cutting technology. The other is Zuta which has a textured 'confetti' effect and calls to mind contemporary Japanese textiles. Both Zuta and Papel are available in black and white with cotton/polyimide compositions.

The use of laser technology is not new to the textile industry, particularly for industrial fabrics (automotive, filters etc) and apparel (sport and protective clothing). However laser engraving and cutting processes for the interior design market is becoming increasingly commonplace and create very distinctive textiles - as both of these designs attest to.
