The first collection I'd like to blog about in 2010 is Xanadu. It's a collection which epitomises all the things we love about textiles at Unique with its a beautiful blend of natural materials (abaca and sisal) and sophisticated metallics, used in a fresh, creative way. As a handmade collection Xanadu showcases the work of skilled weavers, creating designs with subtle variations in colour and texture, bringing the surfaces alive in a way that no machine-made process can ever replicate.

I hope you like Xanadu as much as we do? In fact I've ordered some for the Auckland showroom reception desk - I can't wait to see it in place.
