Eyjafjallajokull fallout — Friday, April 23, 2010
Thanks to the Icelandic volcano with the unpronounceable name I've been stranded in the northern hemisphere for more than a week. It's been extremely frustrating for me on two accounts: Firstly I need to get back to the, err, mountain of work that's piling up on my desk. Secondly I know some of you have fabric orders which have also been stranded by the ash cloud. While we obviously can't do anything about the volcano itself, I'd like you to know that we are doing everything we can to get your orders to the right part of the world as soon as possible. Kay, our freight guru, is moving heaven and earth and everything in between to make it happen.
If you have an extremely urgent job the only thing I can suggest is checking out our numerous stock fabrics, we may have a design which will work as a substitute. Don't hesitate to contact our sales team for any assistance here.
Fingers crossed that I'll be posting my next blog from home - wish me luck.
Carol
