This will probably be the first and last time a toilet - and a long-drop at that - will make an appearance on our blog, but it made me laugh when I received the image from Sally, (MDC's manager). Of course some laughter is most welcome with regards to Christchurch and what its people have experienced. Sally's jury-rig toilet is a great example of kiwi ingenuity!

So to the Mainland Design Centre: The building is still cordoned off in the 'Red Zone', which is a no-go area. It will be some time before we can gain access and start tidying up. I will keep you posted. In the meantime Sue and Rachel in Wellington and Aleisha in our Auckland showroom are more than happy to assist you, whether you need samples posted out or display drops etc.
