Maximum Exposure — Thursday, December 01, 2011
I've been a little late in blogging about Exposure, Carlucci's fabulous new release. There's a good excuse: We have an exciting new project on the boil which has been taking up a lot of my time. It's something we'll announce next week, so stay tuned for that. But back to Exposure and all its glory...
Firstly it's radical! With a dramatic blend of psychedelia, vivid colours, animal patterns and metallics, it's not for the timid. Here's a selection of the press release shots...

If you're a fan of animal patterns then the book 'Big City Jungle' is an absolute must. The fabrics are luscious, with rich velvets, complex jacquards and lacquered linens, in a menagerie of designs; leopard, pony, snake, zebra, crocodile...

My collection highlight is the wallcoverings book 'Wonderwalls'. Which has a soft metallic colour palette and a great selection of patterned and textured designs. Very sophisticated...

For fans of Fornasetti and all things black and white, the 'Fever in the Funkhouse' book is for you. With a great mix of Pop motifs, from Cesare to faux bois. This book also sports a selection of bold geometrics, I particularly love the deco inspired design called 'Funkhouse'.

The four designs above are (clockwise from top left): Knock On Wood, Tumbling Dice, Sin City, Dr D Velvet.
